Jacobs House expresses the ideals of the Usonian House.

Herbert Jacobs House, this first of two houses Frank Lloyd Wright designed for Dr. Jacobs, truly reflects the vision and ideals of the Usonian House. These ideals include functionality, a strong connection to nature, natural beauty and affordability.

Mr Wright succeeds in applying these ideals in relation to the materials he uses, which are stone, concrete, steel, glass and wood.

The following photos give some insight into how Frank Lloyd Wright realized these ideals in this house.
