“For the cause that needs assistance, against the wrongs that need resistance…”
Altered reality, a little about it

Altered Reality is a term that seems to accurately describe a certain prevailing practice. This practice, incidentally, is drawing an increasing number of followers. It also attracts a growing number of people who are always ready to spring to its defense, despite its absurdity.

In this practice, one instantly becomes the gender of one’s choice. One becomes that gender simply by declaring publicly that one is that gender. The declaration does it all. There’s no verification process, independent or otherwise, to support one’s new gender status.

Is the new gender status reversible? Yes, one can reverse it at anytime. Can one reciprocate between both genders? Yes, one may do so whenever one chooses.

Are there any plans to create a third gender in this world of altered reality? Yes, there are plans to create a few more genders. Anything is possible here. We are, however, not sure what form these will take. This is an unpredictable world so one can expect some surprises.

Altered reality, ignoring it can be costly

Just in case anyone thinks this is mere role-playing, they need to look again.

The law courts impose fines on persons who refuse to recognize altered gender reality. The courts have been doing this since 2013. Some states even offer special protection to persons of altered gender status.

Outside of the law courts, the media, other organizations and individuals castigate those who do not recognize this new reality. No wonder that comedians shun this topic in silence.

Some say altered gender persons are just playing a role or acting out a part. Others say all of the world is a stage, and everyone is a player in it. Altered gender persons, if the first statement is true, are also fulfilling the second statement. They are acting out their role on the world’s stage.

“For the cause that needs assistance, against the wrongs that need resistance”
Anti-science campaign

Anti-science congressmen and senators in the U.S. are increasing their campaign against climate science. They are also campaigning against government policy that aims to halt global warming. This anti-science movement, however, is not new and is traceable back to the early modern era.

Shortly after 1514 the Astronomer and Mathematician Nicolaus Copernicus published a book about the workings of our solar system. The Roman Catholic Church banned this book because it contradicted their teaching on the subject. They continued to ban it for decades after his death in 1543.

The Mathematician, Physicist and Astronomer Galileo Galilei confirmed and advocated the research findings of Copernicus. In 1633, at the end of inquisition proceedings, the Roman Catholic Church convicted him of heresy. The church placed him under house arrest until his death in 1642.

This current movement against climate science in the U.S. congress and senate is holding its inquisition against the scientists first. Hopefully, after they silence the scientists then they will destroy the regulators. Finally, they will end all regulation of the petroleum and coal corporations whose interests they are so fond of defending.

A the end of the day, petroleum and coal corporations would have destroyed our planet, our race, and they themselves. They would have carried out the perfect suicide mission, the perfect terrorist plot!

Education, and training the mind

Education in the specific sense is “Cultivation or training of the mind. Such cultivation or training which creates a certain mental set or posture from which will flow values and assumptions.”. This training, therefore, develops in us ability to reason, to be objective, and and to have a sense of values. It prepares us for life. It can also help tame the beast in us, and can help reduce crime and lawlessness.

These ideal qualities are vitally important everywhere and for all time. The formal academic curriculum is the lifeblood of education. We, thus, should never reduce it to one that merely prepares people for work. Toward this end, formal education reformers and fiscal crusaders, therefore, should look to reform vocational learning and training.

Vocational training, preparing people for work

In this regard, vocational instruction and training provide fertile ground for constant improvement and expansion. These prepare us for the world of work, which is forever growing, changing and adapting.

Children’s rights, the basics

Children’s rights we often overlook and when this happens, our children suffer. Sometimes we as parents or guardians place too much emphasis on certain practices toward our children. In so doing, we often ignore their rights in some areas.

There are several areas of rights of children including those dealing with their physical and circumstantial needs. Here, we are looking at two of the less obvious rights. These, expectedly, are among those that we neglect the most.

One such right demands that we protect children from dangerous people. We thus must stop exposing children to dangerous people, even when we are naive about their dangerousness.  Another such right is that we stop using children in our demonstrations of political correctness.

Children’s rights, consequences of denial

The following incident took place in Wyoming, United States, around October 18 this year. Miguel Martinez, a man claiming transgender womanhood invited a ten year old girl to accompany him in a bathroom. He allegedly fondled her breasts and genitalia and then penetrated her. He was a family friend.

During a medical examination of the girl’s genitalia, nurses found evidence of sexual assault. Martinez was on trial October 19, in a case due to last four days.

The above incident shows how we disregard the two children’s rights mentioned above. The girl’s family denied her the right of protection against a dangerous man. They seem naive about his dangerousness. They allowed him in the house around her, and she trusted him because of that.

Her family might have been trying to be politically correct if they allowed her to accompany him in the bathroom. Are they guilty of denying her the second of two rights mentioned above? Yes, if they allowed her to go with him to the bathroom out of political correctness.

Progress, is it inevitable?

Progress is inevitable in all important areas of life, history shows. Every man should have the right of access to such improvement as it comes. Some leaders, however, are against allowing such universal access to improvement.

Such leaders also see access to progress as a special right reserved for a privileged few. These leaders think and act like this where ever they are. They often live a life of decadence, corruption and immorality, and blatantly disregard the rights of women and certain groups.

The policies they implement often serve the personal and other interests of their small circle of friends and associates.  Their policies serve their interests while quietly suppressing the majority and depriving them of opportunities for improvement.

These leaders do not learn from the lessons of history. King Louis XV1 is a good example of how such leaders will rule when given a free hand. His and his monarchy’s fate, consequently, show the likely outcome of such rulership.

Faith, the background

Faith, more so than fact, forms the basis of most of our daily actions. Many examples bear this out. We accept on the basis of faith in them, the couple who love and raise us as our parents. Likewise, we show this same trust when we visit our doctor, and take our prescription to the pharmacist. We never question our doctor or our pharmacist ability to provide the care we seek. We trust our fellow man every day of our life.

People are not so willing to act based on trusting God and his word. From the very beginning we distrusted God and disobeyed him. Some say men wrote the Bible so it is fallible.

Atheists and sceptics say they reject the existence of God because they can not prove it. They, however, accept his nonexistence without being able to prove it.

Religion, at the root

Religion has been with man from our beginning, and seems destined to be with us forever. Who, however, are its creators, and what is its purpose? The God of the Bible made man with a spirit Job 32: 8. This spirit gives us our unique likeness to God Genesis 1: 26.

It also gives us our ability to acquire knowledge and be creative and inventive. We are thus the most creative and inventive of all physical beings. This spirit, however, is not complete. God gave it to us like this for our own good. We must strive to become spiritually complete and fulfilled Matthew 11: 28 John 4: 14.

Religion, the conclusion

Our spirit needs God to infuse it with his divine spirit and make it whole, perfect Matthew 5: 48. When this happens, we will become divine and eternal members of the god family, sons of God. Christ will be our elder brother Romans 8: 29. This will happen when Christ returns 1 Corinthians 15: 52. He will grant It to those who qualify for it through the grace of God. Those persons who receive it would also have kept the ten commandments 1 Corinthians 6: 9.

God created for us the ideal spiritual life as far back as in the garden of Eden Genesis 3: 3. He created this way of life for us so that we might become one with him for our own good. We rejected his recommended way and its destination, for our own way and its outcome. He still calls us to his way, and to him as its destination. Will we heed his call?
