The Pearce House

This house was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for Wilbur C. Pearce. It was built in 1950.

It is a usonian house of the hemicycle type, and affords its occupants 1,988 square feet of living space. It is constructed of concrete blocks, and the wood used externally is rare Honduras mahogany.

At the time of writing, the house is unoccupied but owned by the Pearce family.  It is located within the gated community of “Woodlyn Lane”, 5 Bradbury Hills Road, Bradbury, California (CA).

ANOTHER INTERESTING DESIGN: The Spring House, also called the Clifton and George Lewis 2 House is another superb house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

There  also is the Seth Peterson Cottage, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1958 at the age of 90. This is a tiny one-man dwelling (88 sqm). It is considered a gem, and is located in Mirror Lake, Wisconsin.
